Why We Charge

Our core goal is to positively impact the education system. While we considered becoming a non-profit organisation, extensive deliberation and research revealed that this model would limit our growth and subsequent impact. Therefore, we do charge for our services, but every dollar earned is reinvested into the company to support its growth and enhance our educational impact.
The current pricing reflects the cost of running our AI. As we expand, we can offer a more valuable product and significantly reduce the operational costs of AI. This growth will allow us to either reinvest additional profits into hiring more software engineers or reduce the service cost, all aimed at furthering our mission. Like most of our decisions, we will make this choice in consultation with the educators using Edexia, to ensure we are best serving them.

Can Edexia adapt to different subjects and units?

Currently, our AI is designed to support the Queensland curriculum. While it is not yet versatile across multiple academic fields, we plan to expand its capabilities in the future to include a wider range of academic materials and support custom rubric and criteria uploads.

Do I need technical expertise to use the system?

Not at all. We've designed our platform to be user-friendly. Whether you're tech-savvy or new to digital tools, our system is intuitive and easy to navigate.
